OpBoard is a cash flow and budgeting web app built for people who are stuck between two bad options: budgeting apps that automate everything and take away your control, or spreadsheets that give you full control but eat your weekends.
The problem we solve:
Most budgeting apps require you to connect your bank account via Plaid. They auto-categorize your transactions — often incorrectly — and give you limited ability to fix things. Over time, because everything is automated, you stop paying attention. The app is "handling it," except it's not. It's just collecting data you're not looking at.
Spreadsheets are the opposite. You download your bank CSV, write formulas, manually categorize everything. You understand every dollar — until life gets busy, you skip a month, and the whole system falls apart.
