Unlike many platforms, promotions on ShipIt are completely external. They help you reach audiences outside of ShipIt but have zero impact on your ranking. Your position is determined purely by community votes. No pay-to-play, no hidden algorithms optimizing for revenue.

How are rankings calculated?

Rankings are based on vote count within a time period. Daily rankings show the top voted products launched that day. Weekly and monthly rankings aggregate across those time periods. The more votes from the community, the higher you rank.

Can I pay to boost my ranking?

No. Rankings are determined purely by community votes. Promotions are external advertising that help you reach audiences outside ShipIt, but they never affect your position on the platform. This is a core principle we will never compromise.

What happens if someone manipulates votes?

Vote manipulation (fake accounts, buying votes, vote rings) is taken very seriously. We monitor for suspicious activity and will permanently ban accounts and remove products involved in manipulation.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings, scroll to 'Delete Account', type DELETE to confirm, and click the delete button. This permanently removes your profile and personal data.

What if there's no category that fits my product?

Email us at support@shipit.com with the category name you'd like to see and a brief explanation. We review requests regularly and add new categories when there's demand.

Question 8

Someone else added my product. How do I claim it?

Accepted Answer

Email us at support@shipit.com with proof of ownership (domain access, company email, etc.) and we'll transfer the product to your account or remove it if you prefer.
