I wanted to share a quick story from today that perfectly captures why I spent the last 10 months and nearly 2,000 hours building this platform.

Today, my mother-in-law needed some unexpected yard work done. The cost: $140. Normally, a surprise expense like that creates a moment of low-level panic. In the Money Calendar, I clicked on tomorrow's date and added a one-time "money plan" item for $140. (Note: You can do this for anything—an unexpected bill, putting extra money into savings, or deciding you want to invest).

Because my regular, recurring expenses (like my mortgage and utilities) are already built into my calendar, the app instantly recalculated my daily running balances for the next 24 months.

I could immediately see the "ripple effect" of this single decision. I scrolled ahead 6 months to see if spending this $140 today would throw me off track down the line. It didn't. I looked at where my balance would be at the end of the month and realized: "I'm okay." I didn't have to dip into savings or do anything drastic.

I paid the $140. Tonight, Bountisphere will automatically sync with my bank, pull the transaction in, and tomorrow I’ll just match it to the plan I made today. Done.
