A way to never miss emergency alerts on silent mode!
I’ve just released Smart Notification Alarm, a utility designed for those critical moments when you can't afford to miss a notification, even if your phone is on silent or "Do Not Disturb" mode.
The Problem: Many of us (myself included) keep our phones muted for focus, but that becomes a risk during emergencies or when we’re on-call for server monitoring.
**How it works: **You set up specific "trigger keywords." When a notification arrives (via SMS or messaging apps) containing that keyword, the app forces a loud alarm at maximum volume.
Use cases I had in mind:
Personal Safety: Ensuring family can reach you in emergencies.
SysAdmin/DevOps: Getting loud alerts for server failures (Zabbix, AWS, etc.) during off-hours.
Finding your phone: Sending a keyword to make your lost phone ring.
Technical side:
It’s a lightweight app focused on privacy (works 100% offline). I built it to be reliable without draining the battery.
